Jocelyn Pook Ensemble Biography
Yogeswaran began collaboration with composer Jocelyn Pook in the 90s featured in her recording “Deluge“ (later reissued as Flood) for the first time. Later he has joined her to record for Stanley Kubrick‘s movie „Eyes Wide Shut“ (1999).The resulting track Migrations on the movie made Yogeswaran as the first ever Tamil singer in Hollywood.
He went on to sing for the British blockbuster „Brick Lane“ which has won the evening Standard’s British film awards.
He has sung a song composed by Jocelyn Pook for her majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Thames in London.
Yogeswaran is a regular feature as a soloist on stage with Jocelyn Pook Ensemble. Recent appearances include Festival Chamois (Italy) and Bury St. Edmunds (UK).
